Nate Milligan

Executive Director: Nate Milligan

With more than a decade of experience in home care, skilled rehabilitation, and senior living, including Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care, Nate Milligan brings a deep, well-rounded understanding of senior care to his role at Traditions at North Willow.

Before joining Traditions, Nate spent years supporting older adults in the home care industry, where he consistently noticed something special. “I worked with several patients who lived in Traditions communities, and they were always happy and thriving,” he says. That impression stayed with him. When he was ready for the next step in his career, the strong sense of teamwork and genuine compassion he saw at Traditions made the decision easy.

For Nate, Traditions represents the perfect blend of his senior care background and his desire to build long-term relationships with residents and families. He is passionate about creating a community where people feel supported, understood, and truly at home.

Outside of work, Nate is all about family and fun. He and his wife, Lindsey, stay busy with their two daughters and two energetic dogs. He never misses a Colts home game, enjoys riding dirt bikes, and counts the Bahamas as his favorite getaway.

Community Relations Director : Mary Evans

Meet Mary Evans, Community Relations Director at Traditions at North Willow!

"I love making people smile and laugh," said Mary. "It's just one of the things I love about my job at North Willow. I particularly remember the smile on one resident's face when I took him to the Art Museum, where he used to volunteer. He was so thrilled to see the Van Gogh exhibit and visit with old friends. Another thing I love about Traditions is the way we honor and respect our military veterans."

Mary was born and raised in Marion, Indiana. When she's not working, she loves spending time with her husband, Jim, and their four children.

"Mary is nothing less than amazing," exclaimed Libby Mellinger, Traditions Area Vice President of Operations. "The passion and commitment she shows every day is just simply incredible. Mary continuously thinks outside the box to ensure every North Willow resident benefits from our social model. Our residents rave about her and are beside themselves when she is out of the office. She is an integral part of our management team and keeps us all on our toes. Her energy level, smile, enthusiasm, and love are contagious. She makes Traditions at North Willow an amazing place to be every day!"

Julie Bowen

Wellness Director: Julie Bowen

Julie has a nursing degree, has been working in long-term and memory care since 1989, was a dementia instructor and has extensive dementia training, including instruction by Teepa Snow.

"I went to college to become a teacher, originally, but since I was a child, I have always been close to elderly people, and that was where my heart was and is today. They are really the greatest teachers of all. I am here to meet them in their journey and ensure I support our residents and their families, enhancing their quality of life."

Julie is from a family of six and has one son who lives in Oregon.
